The Gospel

The Gospel is good news for everyone!

Reality #1

Everyone is a Sinner

The Bible declares in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Everyone, including you and me, has broken God’s law because we are broken and live in a broken world.

Reality #2

Sin has a price that must be paid

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death…”

More than the death of the body, sin separates the sinner from God. Unless a rescue is made, the sinner will spend eternity separated from God in a literal hell.

Reality #3

God Loves You

We read in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God’s heart is our rescue. He does not desire that anyone should go to hell. That is why He provided the rescue that we need.

Reality #4

Jesus Christ is our rescuer

Romans 5:8 proclaims, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

I Corinthians 15:3-4 state, “…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures…he was buried, and…he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us. Jesus entered our brokenness, experienced our hurts, but lived the life we could not live. He never sinned! He died the death that we deserved – taking on Himself the penalty of our sin so that we could be rescued. The sinless One became our sin so that we might stand sinless before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). After three days in the grave, Jesus arose and is alive today.

Pray and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior and claim His promise of eternal life

Romans 10:9-10 & 13, “That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
